		<description>Sure you can, I always grow my cuttings direct in soil instead of water rooting.  Get a small pot, 3 or 4&#34;, and put in some potting mix.  Water it well, then stick the cutting in, putting at least the first set of leaves at the soil, or even under it a bit, since this is where the roots will come from.

Keep it moist, provide bright, filtered light, and it will be rooted in about 3 weeks, maybe less.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#39;ve grown a lot of lipsticks, and other gesneriads, from cuttings.</description>
