First Time Wearing Makeup? Here Is A Beginner’s Guide
There are many women in today’s society who don’t wear makeup and may not know how to wear makeup. It is suggested that if you work with an agency or company you should at least wear some makeup in order to look put together. Many women would love to wear makeup but have no idea where to begin. If this is your first time wearing makeup here are some simple guidelines to follow.
Choose A Gentle Face Wash
It’s best to choose a gentle face wash that won’t over dry your face or cause break outs. When you put on makeup over dry skin it will start to flake and won’t be very attractive. For overly dry skin or patches of dry skin a moisturizer will help nourish your skin and help cure dry skin.
Invest In A Makeup Remover
Regular soap and water may not get rid of every type of makeup you are wearing. For example, mascara does not come off all the way with only soap and water. It’s a good idea, therefore, to get a makeup remover as this will easily wipe away makeup. You may want to try different types of makeup remover such as pads, liquid or spray.
Build Your Makeup Kit
There are some essential makeup items you should get if you want to start to wear makeup. One of the most important things to get is mascara. Mascara will open up your eyes and make them pop. Many women can get away with just mascara and lip gloss. Lip gloss or lipstick is another staple in your makeup kit. It’s best to match your lip gloss or lipstick to your natural lip color. The goal to wearing makeup is to appear that you aren’t wearing a lot of makeup and in order to do that makeup must appear natural in color and accentuate your natural colors. Another important thing to get for your makeup kit is a natural foundation. Find an oil-free light coverage foundation that won’t feel heavy when you wear it.
Having those key makeup items in your bag will allow you to wear makeup during the day, at work or just running errands. Once you have practice wearing makeup, you can start to explore with eye shadow, blushes and eyeliners.
